This site doesn't track you. There are no cookies and no analytics. Below you can read what does happen with your data.
Who I am
This website belongs to Zubaid Shah, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 95870512. I'm responsible for what happens to your data through this site. Questions? Email info@zubaidshah.com.
When you visit the site
To send you the pages and the video, my hosting providers process technical data such as your IP address and the type of browser you use. The website runs on Vercel and the video comes from Cloudflare. They do this on my behalf, only to keep the site working and secure. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in a working, secure website.
When you get in touch
If you email or call me, or message me on Instagram, I use your name, your contact details and what you tell me only to reply and, if we end up working together, to arrange that work. The legal basis is preparing or performing a contract, or my legitimate interest in answering you. Messages on Instagram are also covered by Meta's privacy policy.
How long I keep data
I keep your message for as long as your question or our work together needs it. Records I need for my accounts, such as invoices, I keep for seven years, because Dutch tax law requires it.
Who I share data with
I never sell your data. I only share it with the services needed to run this site and my email, such as Vercel and Cloudflare. Some of these companies are based in the United States. Transfers then rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data. You can also object, restrict the processing or ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Email me and I'll respond within a month. Not happy with how I handle your data? You can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Security
The site always uses an encrypted connection (https). I treat your messages as confidential.
